Fuel & cost saving

Despite the current government's recent freeze on fuel duty, pump prices have risen significantly in recent years.  Whether considering the Environment, finite oil reserves or global political stability, it shouldn’t be surprising if that continues.

Sharing more of our driven journeys directly saves on fuel expenditure, as well as other motoring costs, such as servicing, depreciation and insurance.

Making the modal shift to public transport for some longer journeys, or walking or cycling on shorter ones also almost always saves us money.

From a corporate perspective, fewer cars arriving on site through shared commuting and greater adoption of sustainable travel modes results in reduced car parking costs.  Reduced business mileage is another direct, measurable saving.

Sustainable travel adoption has also been demonstrated to reduce staff absenteeism and turnover, realising further financial benefits to those companies that promote Green Travel.
